Student Reviews

The Detail Czar is a great training establishment to learn all the procedures in detailing a vehicle for that professional and perfect look. I learned a lot in the training days that I was a student and now I’m going to take the professional tips from the trainers and Nick Vacco and apply them throughout my professional career

Man was the Detail Czar class amazing! Driving back to Chicago, I can’t help but smile, knowing that I get to use the things I learned as soon as I get home! This class will literally go over everything you need to know from cleaning windows to polishing and applying a beautiful ceramic coating. I will send all my future employees to this class!

One of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I learned so much from Nick Vacco and his awesome trainers Chase and Nolan. Would recommend any new or experienced detailer to do the training!

This was seriously the best weekend I’ve had in years. Such an amazing and fun time being able to be hands-on with lessons being interactive and very engaging. If I could give a 7 star review I would. This training program will be 100% the reason my detailing business scales in margins. Thank you Nick for the time and effort you put into your students and trainers who also were amazing - Chase, Chris, Nolan and Abram. 100% recommend this course. Thank you guys!!

Had a great opportunity to learn more about what it takes being a professional detailer and business owner. I feel more confident in my role as both owner and professional detailer and have a fresh wind about moving forward in my business. I would recommend this to any detailer that hasn’t gone to any training as well as anyone who is looking to get into and owning their own detail business.

The Detail Czar Camp has been an incredible experience. The training is very detailed, easy to follow, and packed with real-world knowledge that you can immediately apply to your own business. I learned not only proper detailing techniques, paint correction, and ceramic coatings, but also valuable insights about customer service, pricing, and growing a successful detailing business.

Nick and his team (Chase and Chris) genuinely care about helping students succeed and are always willing to answer questions. I left feeling much more confident in my skills and excited to continue building my business. I highly recommend Detail Czar to anyone who wants to take their detailing knowledge and professionalism to the next level.

This is a must take class for all future detailers. Very informative class. Chase and Chris are great trainers.

Great three day class! Nick definitely knows his stuff. Class room presentation was very structured and well presented. Day 2 and 3 hands on with two great instructors (Chris and Chase), both took their time with us and explained each step we were about to complete. Loved the small private class of 2 students really feels like you get the most out of the instructors. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone wanting to sharpen their skills in Auto Detailing.

Great experience! All 3 days of the training at The Detail Czar were very informative! The business training with Nick Vacco has definitely given me the mindset and tools to be very successful! The hands-on training has changed my detailing for the better!

Nick, Chase, and Chris were all very helpful, respectful, and really focused on helping me become a better detailer! 100% would recommend to anyone looking to start a detailing business, or someone looking to upgrade their business with different business tools and services!

This class is definitely a class to take if you're looking for in-depth detailing and solid business knowledge. Lots of data within the class is crucial to starting a business and understanding the world in which detailing sits.

It's a great educational experience for someone who likes to ask questions and be more immersed in the program. Since it's on a far more personal level, being that it's only two people, it's easier to ask questions and really dive into topics without the need to pull aside Nick or one of the trainers after the class or in between sessions.

I would highly recommend this class to others looking for a great way to become certified and know what you're doing, so not only you but also your clients have that certification backing, saying that you know your stuff.

Thank you Nick for being an inspirational teacher. I recently attended your detailing training program. I must say I came away with a lot more confidence and knowledge than I expected. I gained so much knowledge from the hands on training. And don’t let me forget to mention how awesome your trainers Chase and Chris were. This was an incredible experience and I know my business will do well. Thank you guys again and keep up the amazing training.

I just completed the auto detailing course with Nick, Chase, and Chris, and I am very happy with the experience. All three instructors brought a ton of knowledge, patience, and real‑world insight to every part of the training. They broke down each step clearly, made sure everyone understood the techniques, and created an environment where questions were always welcome. The hands‑on practice was incredibly valuable, and the way they explained the “why” behind each process really helped everything click. On top of that, the team kept the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable  - even sharing breakfast sandwiches and lunch with us, which made the whole experience feel even more welcoming. I’m walking away with skills I feel confident using and a much deeper understanding of professional detailing. Highly recommend this course and these instructors.

Nick and the gang were great! I have been into the "car world" for decades, as far back as I can remember. Building model cars as a kid, and working on them now. A huge car enthusiast. I have several classic cars that I care for and have restored.

I liked to have thought that I have had some of the skills for detailing and maintaining cars. Nick and the team have just added to my skills and knowledge to help me better care for my collection, help friends with their cars, and possibly some day after I finally decide to retire, to possibly start a small business offering auto detailing and paint correction.

The experience is well worth it, so if you are thinking about signing up for the class, dont hesitate!

If you have already started a detail business or are looking to get started, look no further than learning from the Detail Czar, Nick Vacco. His three-day course was top notch, hands on, one-on one training with an amazing amount of education throughout. You will leave his class with all the knowledge you need to be a top-rate, successful detailer.

You will also have access to Nick’s wealth of knowledge after the class for support whenever you need it. I would highly recommend this course to everyone no matter where your skill level currently sits. Invest in yourself, learn from the best and make a good friend along the way. Thank you, Nick!

This training program at The Detail Czar completely exceeded my expectations in every way. I was taught every single possible thing there is to know about detailing - both the business side and the hands on side. I would have travelled from anywhere in the world to attend this training, honestly. Nick is a good man and he actually cares.

The Detail Czar 3-day training program gave me everything I need to know to run my business! The first day was the business class, where I learned everything from what insurances I need to how to get my LLC set up. The information I got that first day was extremely beneficial for my future and gave me a clear direction moving forward.

The second day was hands-on where I learned how to properly wash, paint correct a car from top to bottom, and apply ceramic coatings using different coatings throughout the car to show how each one is applied.

The third day was interiors, and I learned a lot of tips and tricks that will help make my interior details go much smoother. They also showed interior ceramic coatings which will be a great service to add to my business!

All of the products by Detail Czar we used for both the interior and exterior were amazing and really helped make the whole process go smoothly. Nick, along with Chase and Chris were all very great. They were knowledgeable, helpful, and made sure I understood what they were teaching! This was a great experience, and I would highly recommend this training to anyone looking to grow or start their detailing business!

I just recently completed the two day paint correction exterior and interior detail class with Nick, Frank and Chris at the Detail Czar's shop, along with a good friend and coworker. We both are 'car guys' but not professional detailers. I really enjoyed my experience! We both came in to the course looking to gain personal knowledge and growth, specifically for paint correction and ceramic coating. In the future, I could see branching out and starting a detail shop either mobile or out of my home.

It felt like within a few hours, we had a shared, truly relatable identity with Nick and the team. They were extremely easy going. We all were fired up to see the extreme transformation from start to finish. The team are really Good Fellas! I had a decent exposure and past background in auto detailing before attending this two day course, but it in my opinion, it does not matter if you come with any experience or not. The course is so structured, it is simply designed for student success.

The training was organized so methodically. We were provided a complete printed breakdown of the steps, products used, and even a little laminated cheat sheet. It was an excellent experience that accelerated my desire not only to get back into detailing my personal cars along with my family and friends, but really got me inspired to possibly work towards starting a detail business in the future.

The skills covered will put folks on a path to succeed with the careers in auto detailing. The guys at Detail Czar were very enthusiastic about their work, which made the experience fun. Time flew by on the exterior day 1 for sure. I also like that Nick is there after the course. I would call in like a family of detailers that can share from each others experiences. He takes personal calls to answer questions. Knowing you have someone in the detail field with such a vast experience, only will build your confidence as you growth in the auto detail field. Nick Vacco truly has your back.

Nick, I’d like to first start by thanking you for being a great mentor and offering a valuable, lifelong educational experience. The whole Detail Czar team was amazing and provided great support step by step, never losing patience. You and your team are on my list of recommendations for anyone who is in need of training or guidance on auto detailing. Thanks, Nick, Chase, Chris, and Jacob.
