Student Reviews

Great hands-on training! Nick Vacco is great! Thorough and willing to help with any and all questions you may have. I learned and am now comfortable with what I came to learn and then some! Highly recommend The Detail Czar for all your training needs! His trainers Chris and Chase are great guys and good teachers as well!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 - Absolutely Outstanding Training Experience! I couldn’t be more impressed with the training I received from Detail Czar. Nick Vacco and his team are on an entirely different level when it comes to both expertise and teaching ability. Their knowledge of paint correction, damp sanding, and high-level detailing techniques is unmatched - but what really sets them apart is how clearly and confidently they communicate that knowledge.

From the moment training started, Nick created an environment that was hands-on, supportive, and incredibly informative. He breaks down complex processes in a way that’s easy to grasp, and he’s patient in making sure you truly understand the “why” behind every step. His team mirrors the same level of professionalism, passion, and precision - every one of them is committed to helping you grow your skills.

The damp sanding portion of the training was especially eye-opening. Nick teaches not only the technical execution but also the judgment, finesse, and respect needed when working with paint. By the end of the course, I felt confident, capable, and genuinely excited to apply everything I learned. If you’re serious about elevating your detailing abilities, Detail Czar is the place to go. Nick and his team don’t just teach you techniques - they teach you mastery. Absolutely worth every minute and every dollar. Highly, highly recommended!

I drove up from Kentucky to The Detail Czar, I work as the lead detailer at a large car dealership. I really enjoyed the detailing and ceramic coating training as it helped me improve on the skills I already possessed. The training also helped me learn New skills!!! I recommend it to anyone looking to further their detailing career!!!

I’m Kaden Bell from East St. Louis, IL. I Drove 9-10 hours to Pittsburgh for the Detail Czar training. I’ve had experience detailing from trial and error. It was great soaking in the knowledge and experience of Mr. Nick Vacco and his two trainers Chris and Chase. On day 1 learning and understanding the business portion of auto detailing and steps to make it easier and sure of the service you are trying to provide.

Exterior cleaning training, paint correction and ceramic coating on day 2. Day 3 interior cleaning training as well as dressing interior, carpet extraction, headliner cleaning and ceramic coating on leather seats, and to finish it with headlight restoration. Training was more extensive and more detailed then I thought. If you are not confident in your work to take on clients an be an actual “Detailer” this will surely help you.

It’s also a blueprint on do’s and don’ts of running and starting a detail business. In summary this was worth every dollar and mileage of travel. There is also an after care service for consulting you won’t find anywhere else. Thank you Mr. Nick, Chris, and Chase for the teachings and hospitality.

Nick has a first-rate detailing training program! He and his trainers know everything about the detailing business, and his classes are worth every penny! I would definitely recommend anybody interested in the detailing business to go to his classes!

I attended the Detail Czar training course November 7th-9th 2025. The class was amazing! The first day was the business side of detailing. To me this was the most important day for me. Nick explained the process of setting up your detailing company. He gave us hand outs and went over them line by line. He made it simple to understand and examples to follow when making a business plan.

Day 2 was a complete detail with paint correction and the ceramic coating. We detailed an older Honda SUV that was in bad shape. I was able to follow all the steps and do paint correction and ceramic coating for the first time. His trainers worked with me until I was proficient with using the Rupes polishers.

Day 3 was the interior training. If you are new to detailing like I am, the process we followed was great and showed me to do things step-by step so you don’t miss the small things. Overall, the class was amazing. If you are just starting out this is the class for you.

Wow, what an incredible experience at The Detail Czar! This training was way more than just learning how to detail cars - it taught me how to build a real business. Nick Vacco and his team are amazing teachers and mentors. They truly care about your success, during and after the class. The hands-on work, the knowledge, and the positive energy made it all worth it. Big thanks to Nick and everyone at The Detail Czar for helping me gain the skills and confidence to start my own business.

Excited to begin this new chapter as the proud owner of La Gratitude Where to begin… My experience with The Detail Czar training was absolutely outstanding. It was not only informative and hands-on but also deeply inspiring. I didn’t just learn how to properly detail a vehicle - I learned how to build, manage, and grow a professional detailing business from the ground up. Nick Vacco is a true expert and mentor. His teaching style, honesty, and real-world experience make this training second to none.

The entire team genuinely cares about each student’s success and future. What really stood out to me is that the support doesn’t stop when the class ends - Nick continues to mentor and guide you afterward, always available when you need advice or encouragement. That kind of dedication means a lot. I’m beyond grateful for the knowledge, confidence, and motivation I gained from this program.

Thank you, Nick, and the whole Detail Czar team, for this life-changing experience. I’m proud to say I’m now on my way to building my very own detailing business on everything I learned from you all! 5 Stars

The 3-day training at the Detail Czar training center was more than I expected and incredibly valuable for anyone looking to take the next step whether you’re becoming a detailer or trying to scale your business. The hands-on training from an amazing team makes all the difference, and with Nick’s 40+ years of experience, this course is truly worth every investment!

What a great learning experience! After years of cleaning my own vehicle, I now know how to properly wash and detail both the interior and exterior of any vehicle! I especially enjoyed learning how to do paint restoration, ceramic coating, and treating the windshield. I highly recommend anyone already in the field or to anyone who may be interested in pursuing a path in auto detailing, to contact The Detail Czar ASAP - You will not regret it!

Where to begin…this training course at The Detail Czar was an amazing experience! Very informative, educational and lots of hands on training. To learn not only how to detail a car, but to learn how to run and operate a successful business. Nick Vacco is extremely knowledgeable mentor to have in the industry and knows his stuff. I would definitely say…without Nick and his trainers teaching me, I don’t feel I would be as successful as I am going to be spending a whole with weekend with Nick and his team.

For those who are looking to start up their own detailing business or just to get into the industry in general…I highly highly recommend taking this seminar with Detail Czar. Fantastic people who really care about you as a person and your future success. And an amazing bonus to add after completion of this seminar, Nick doesn’t stop there with you. He will continue to mentor you throughout your whole future endeavors.

Nick keeps his line open to all trainees who come through his program. Whether it’s great success he can celebrate with you, or a speed bump in the road you may encounter to help you get over. You can’t ask for more than that. I give Detail Czar two thumbs and five stars. So I really thank Detail Czar from the bottom of my heart for this great and wonderful experience!!! On to my future success as a detail business owner!

This course at the Detail Czar was amazing! Nick Vacco gave me extremely valuable information, & a skill that will live with me forever. He really makes you feel comfortable. He cares about his students and their success. I'm confident in my forthcoming success, and Nick is certainly a part of that! The trainers were great as well. Chris, Chase, and Abram were very patient with us, and I couldn't ask for a better crew to train us! They are all now family haha. Thank you Nick for having me. I'm forever grateful!

The 3-Day Detail Class by The Detail CZAR (Nick Vacco and his team) is designed for people who want to either start a serious auto detailing business or take their existing skills to a professional level. Over three intensive days, the class covers both technical detailing (exterior and interior) and business fundamentals. Great Class!

We recently completed the car detailing and ceramic coating training with The Detail Czar and received my certificate -  we are now Detail Czar Certified! The experience was excellent from start to finish. The trainers were very professional, knowledgeable, and patient, making sure every detail of the process was explained and demonstrated clearly. We learned a lot of practical skills that we can confidently use, and we truly appreciate the quality of the training. Thank you to the team at The Detail Czar for doing such a great job and providing top-notch training. Highly recommended!

This past weekend I had the opportunity to attend The Detail CZAR Detailing Course, and it was nothing short of an incredible experience. Over the course of the training, I was able to dive deep into the art of paint correction, learning advanced techniques, proper tool handling, and industry tips that truly separate great work from average work.

The hands-on training made all the difference, giving me the chance to apply what I was learning in real time and build the confidence to take on more complex projects. The instructors shared not only their technical knowledge but also their passion for the craft, which made the experience even more motivating.

I walked away with a new perspective on detailing, a sharpened skill set, and a higher standard for the quality I want to deliver to my clients. Investing in this course was a game-changer, and I’m excited to bring everything I learned back into my work. If you’re serious about elevating your detailing skills, I can’t recommend The Detail CZAR Detailing Course enough!

The Detail Czar classes were great! I was a guest trainer for the weekend, the students were very interactive and stayed on track. I also learned a lot of Amazing stuff myself!

Amazing course! Worth every penny. Genuinely one of the most important 3 days that will lead me in the right direction. Great mentor and even better teaching. Nothing better than the Detail Czar!

My hat goes off to Nick Vacco including Chase, Chris and Shaun the Detail Czar instructors. I wasn’t 100% sure what I was in for before I got to the training. I know we all like to read the reviews. I cannot imagine how this training could get any better. Instructions were hands down the best thanks to a small 2 person class. You get so much personal attention. Everybody was extremely patient and will go over anything you do understand or would like to see how it works until you get it.

There is SO MUCH information to learn that the 125 page “detailing bible” that is included in your training will be a lifesaver. Nick being the main trainer makes himself extremely available during the class as well as in the future. If you are thinking about becoming a detailer or are just starting out or are a seasoned veteran you will learn so much about the correct way to detail and not to mention the business side of the business.

Most classes do not teach you in detail, how to run every aspect of your business. You owe it to yourself and more importantly to your customers to attend this training. Just jump in with both feet and hang on for the ride because you are about to have a whole lot of fun and I bet you will make a few bucks along the way!! I’ll see you at the top!!

The Detail Czar classes were very productive and educational. This class is for anyone interested in starting a detail business or someone that has been operating already. The hands on portions are very beneficial to see how a professional detail should be done. Anyone can wash a car but detailing professionally requires a process. I definitely recommend Nick Vacco and his team.

I recently went to Nick Vacco's Detail Czar detailing and ceramic coating training program, this was much bigger than detailing. The knowledge you acquire through this program is something money cannot buy. Nick truly wants the best for everyone and is truly one of the smartest/best mentors I’ve ever had! He teaches you so much about running a business, licensees, professionalism, and marketing.

This is information you will use not only for detailing, but any business you get into in the future, teaches you literally everything you need to know. It also teaches you about very expensive services you can provide for your business that will make you a lot of money. All of the trainers were very helpful and respectful through out the program and made sure not to move on to the next step if you didn’t understand what’s going on in the current step. I’d0 recommend this program, it will certify you and give you all the tools you need for success. 10/10 must try again!!

The Detail Czar class was very informative. I learned a lot of things that are going to help make my detailing business and I succeed from this point forward. Even the business part was great information. I can't Thank Nick Vacco and the young gentlemen that taught us during this past weekend. They are all friendly and helpful. My son and I agree that each one of them will hold a special place with us as we move forward in our business. I look forward to sending my other son to learn from you guys in the near future. Thank you Nick and the guys for this past weekend.

I semi-optimistically traveled 9 hours from Springfield Illinois to check out Nick Vacco and his auto detailing training experience, to say the least when I got there I was blown away by the hospitality that Nick and the trainees showed! The first day was all business literally but not too strenuous or too drawn out for those new to the game. The second training day involve the trainers which were Chase and Cole with hands-on experience with exterior auto detailing.

Chase and Cole were great trainers, they both practice patience and were very knowledgeable with their portion of the training, hats off to those guys too. The third day was interior cleaning and headlight restoration and the trainer that day was Chris, another very nice young man knowledgeable down to earth and knew his stuff. Also, I like to add Nick gave his guys to do their training and anytime Nick could lend a hand and add his two cents in a good way he did so I appreciate that.

All around great experience. I stated earlier I semi-optimistically traveled 9 hours to the facility.  If you're reading this review and are thinking about signing up for the Detail Czar class I'm telling you there's nothing to worry about, just show up and be ready to absorb lots of info. For the people who already detail cars you can probably learn something also. For those who know absolutely nothing about detailing automobiles like myself, this is the place to be! Good luck to everyone and their future endeavors in auto detailing ✌🏿
